My Favorite Herbs for Healing and Medicinal Flavor

My four favorite #herbs for #healing and #medicinal flavor in #cooking are #garlic, #ginger, #peppermint, and #lemon.  I've used all four wonderful healing herbs for more than 20 years and I can honestly say that they have saved my life.  I love the wonderful pungent #aroma of all of them.  Garlic in foods smells so lovely and makes me hungry while I cook it into my meals.  It also aids in tremendous healing of various ear and bacterial infections and my family swears by it.  Ginger smells lovely and tastes very strong, but when my family doesn't fell well, a little ginger sprinkled in a hot tea or my magical healing soup does wonders to help us feel much better.  


Peppermint is a very pungent herb and I never leave home without it.  I swear by it.  It aids in #digestion, soothes my sore throat, cools me down on an uncomfortable hot day, and gives the indoor air of my home a lovely cooling aroma.  Lemon is one of my favorites.  I always make sure I have plenty of lemons on hand because I use them for so many healing benefits.  A little fresh squeezed lemon juice in a refreshing cool peppermint tea is lovely on an uncomfortable hot day.  I add a few squeezes of fresh lemon juice to many of my dishes and the flavor is wonderful and delicious!  You will find the #recipe for my magical healing soup and many more wonderful #recipes in my soon to be #published #plantbased #cookbook.  Mother Nature is my best friend and her herbal medicine cabinet is priceless!
