Sleep is very important for good health and wellbeing. If you need rest and you are having difficulty sleeping, meditate and take a nap, if you need to, and #justsayNO to #caffeine. Studies show that drinking anything caffeinated gives you a quick jolt or buzz and a false feeling of energy and then within a few hours, your body feels lethargic and you may even feel jittery. It feels like you are crashing. Drinking a cup or two of coffee is not the solution to sleep-deprivation. Practicing Transcendental Meditation is very easy and helpful in lowering blood pressure and helping the body, mind, and Spirit to feel more relaxed. I have been practicing TM for more than 20 years and it's really helped me in so many ways. I attribute my youthfulness largely to my being a regular daily meditator. When you feel more rested, your entire wellbeing feels better and when you feel better, it's a good time to go outside and enjoy some fresh air.
